Rhinoplasty - Nasal Reshaping Photos - Case #4191

37 year old female, with history of nasal trauma on multiple occasions who was unhappy with her nasal appearance and wished to undergo a rhinoplasty to improve the shape and make her nose more feminine. She disliked her dorsal bump, felt her nasal bridge was too wide, her tip asymmetrical and too round. She had previously undergone a septoplasty. She underwent an open rhinoplasty with a columellar strut to equalize the projection of the tip cartilages, non-destructive tip cartilage shaping with sutures to refine the shape of the nasal tip, shaving of her nasal bump and osteotomies to narrow the nasal dorsal width. Photos taken 3 weeks after her rhinoplasty show a balanced, proportional nasal shape. Her nose has been narrowed, her tip refined with an improved, feminine shape and the dorsal bump removed. Front and profile views after her rhinoplasty show a marked improvement. The patient is very pleased with her result.
