Liposuction Photos - Case #3565

28 year old female, nonsmoker, 5 feet 7 inches, 170 lbs who wished to undergo liposuction to improve the shape and contour of her abdomen and waist. She was at a stable weight and had areas of excess fat that were diet and exercise resistant. She underwent tumescent liposuction through remote access ports. 3,300 cc of fat was removed during her liposuction. Her post liposuction photos were taken 3 weeks after her procedure and show a flattened, smooth abdomen, narrowed and contoured waist and a youthful more athletic appearance to the central trunk. Her buttocks appear to have an improve shape, although nothing was done in this area, due to the sculpting around them. 3 weeks after her liposuction she is 10 lbs lighter and resuming normal activity. Tumescent liposuction, using both suction and discontinous undermining without suction on, allows maximal smoothing and shaping during liposuction and helps avoid contour irregularities. The patient is very pleased with her rejuvenated shape.
