63 year old female, nonsmoker, with no prior facial surgery, who wished to undergo a facelift to rejuvenate her facial and neck appearance. She wanted her facelift to improve the loss of volume in her midface, smooth and straighten her jawline and improve the contour of her neck. She underwent a facelift consisting of lateral SMAS tightening with vertical vectoring of the SMAS and plication of her platysmal muscle in the midline of her neck. Skin vectoring was also vertical. Her postoperative photos were taken 2 months after her facelift and show a balanced facial rejuvenation with a fuller midface, smoothed and straightened jawline and an improved contour of her neck. Her facelift incisions are very well hidden in the normal contours of the hair and around her ear. She is very pleased with her facelift result.
