Breast Augmentation Photos - Case #4067

29 year old female, 5 feet 5 inches, 132 lbs with no prior pregnancies who wished to have a breast augmentation to improve her breast contour and increase her breast size. Her breasts exam revealed a constricted breast deformity in which the base width of the breast is narrowed and the nipple appears to protrude outward from the breast. Her cup size was a 34A and she wished to increase her cup size to a 34B. She underwent a breast augmentation with 275cc smooth, round, highly cohesive, silicone gel implants, placed in a submuscular pocket through an incision in the crease under her breasts. The dissection included internal releases of the constricted breast tissue to allow the breast tissue to conform to the shape of the implant. Her breast augmentation included use of the Keller funnel to insert the implants so the implants never touched the patients skin during insertion. Her post operative photographs were taken 2 months after her breast augmentation and show a symmetric, proportional increase in breast size. Her constricted breast deformity is gone. She has achieved her increase in cup size to a 34 B and is very pleased with her result.
