Rhinoplasty - Nasal Reshaping Photos - Case #4920

44 year old male who wished to undergo rhinoplasty to improved his nasal shape and balance. His concerns about his nose were: 1) his nasal bump, which he wished straightened. 2) the middle portion of his nose which he considered too narrow compared with the upper and lower parts of his nose and 3) his nasal tip which showed marked separation of his nasal tip cartilages. His rhinoplasty was done open and consisted of a 4mm reduction of his dorsal cartilage to straighten his nasal dorsum profile view, nasal septal cartilage spreader grafts to straighten his nasal frontal view, 3 mm resection of his caudal septum to shorten his nose, and suturing of his nasal tip cartilages to reshape them to a more balanced symmetrical tip appearance. A chin implant was also placed. His post rhinoplasty photos were taken 3 weeks after his surgery and show a balanced nasal facial harmony.
