Rhinoplasty - Nasal Reshaping Photos - Case #3697

20 year old female, in good health, who wished to undergo a rhinoplasty as she was unhappy with the balance between her nasal shape and her facial features. Specifically she wished to correct her nasal bump and slightly narrow the upper part of her nose. She felt her nasal tip was too wide and had poor definition. She also wanted her rhinoplasty to correct her drooping tip and give her nasal tip more projection. Her rhinoplasty was done using the open technique for maximal precision. Her cartilaginous and bony dorsum were trimmed to create a more balanced and straighter nasal line. Her nasal bones were moved inward to narrow her nasal appearance and spreader flaps were used. Symmetric trimming of her nasal tip cartilage and non destructive suturing techniques were used to reshape her nasal cartilage to improve shape and tip projection. Her post rhinoplasty photos were taken 4 months after her rhinoplasty. Her post operative appearance shows smooth straight dorsal lines and a straight nasal dorsum. Her tip is elevated, refined and narrowed with a natural appearance. Her tip projection is improved and gives a balanced appearance to her nose. She is very pleased with her results.
