55 year old female 5 feet 4 inches 170 lbs, who wished to rejuvenate her face/neck appearance by a face lift/neck lift. She wished to enhance the fullness of her cheeks, straighten and smooth her jawline and reduce the platysmal banding in her neck to give her a smoother neck contour. Her procedure included a lateral plication of her SMAS in a vertical direction to shift volume to her midface and cheek bones and suturing the edges of the platysma together under her chin to shape and contour the neck. Skin was repositioned in a vertical direction to lift and further contour the jaw line and cheeks. Her post face lift/ neck lift were taken 1 month after her procedure and show a fuller midface, a smoothed and straightened jaw line and smoother neck with elimination of her prior platysma bands. She is very pleased with her new appearance and contour.
