Eyelid Surgery Photos - Case #3942

64 year old female, who wished to rejuvenate her appearance with a blepharoplasty. She felt the tissue around her eyes made her look tired and unenergetic. She underwent an upper and lower blepharoplasty under local anesthesia only. The upper blepharoplasty removed skin only, except for a small fat pocket in the medial aspect of the upper lid crease and the lower blepharoplasty removed 3-4 mm of skin which allowed the lower lids to become smoother. Each incision was closed with a single suture which was placed entirely under the skin. The photos taken after her blepharoplasty were taken 2 weeks after her surgery and show symmetric upper lid creases and a smoother lower eyelid skin. Her appearance is more alert, energetic and youthful. She is very pleased with the results of her upper and lower blepharoplasty.
